Children singing – Let every child sing
Research and proven experience show that young individuals, schools and communities benefit from all kinds of musical activity.
In order to promote opportunities for children’s singing, schools, cultural centers, churches, student associations, volunteers and others need to cooperate. By sharing our good examples, knowledge and experience - we can overcome any challenges.
Children singing is an expanding international movement
We can be found everywhere in Sweden and also among some of our Nordic neighbors. We envision a future in which the movement can expand and become international. Through broad collaborations, the project will work with several sectors of society and our joint initiatives range from working with governmental contacts to publishing research and promoting technological development. These all have one thing in common: working with and for children’s vocals, whether on a professional or a voluntary basis. To increase the participation in musical activity among children and teachers, the context for children’s voices must go hand in hand with cultural heritage on several levels - educational as well as individual.
